Satisfy Your Sweet Tooth With These Nontraditional Desserts
Sometimes you just need to eat something sweet.
Indulge yourself with these creative creations that are a “piece of cake” to make!
Super Fudgy Healthy Brownies
Fudge is arguably the most delicious dessert of all time, and these fudgy brownies are no exception. They’re gluten-free, grain-free, and dairy-free, and they fit in the paleo diet — which will be hard to believe once you taste them. Whether you like your brownies cakey or gooey, this recipe provides. My only tip is to trust the process and make sure your measurements are exact. Apparently, baking requires you to actually pay attention to the recipe instead of “winging it” like I tend to do. But even with my slightly-off calculations, these brownies were as decadent as ever!
Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies
These gluten-free cookies taste so good it’s nutty! I looove this recipe, and these are definitely my favorite dessert from this list. Pro tip: put a tiny bit more peanut butter in your dough for the cookies to taste heavenly. If you’re like me and don't have the time to make your own peanut butter, choose whichever kind you like best and plop it in the bowl, no questions asked! Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry would definitely approve, and so will you once you try these goodies.
Chocolate-Dipped Frozen Bananas
These chocolate-covered bananas will drive you b-a-n-a-n-a-s! I used unsweetened chocolate to make these gluten-free. When I made these, I didn’t chill the bananas long enough, and it was evident when I bit into the finished product. Moral of the story: don’t rush the process or you’ll end up with mushy bananas. Regardless, I still think they’re delicious! Choose your own toppings for an easily customizable and delicious recipe that will more than satisfy your sweet tooth.
