(Haunted) House Hunting: Auburn Edition
In need of a good scare? This blog has you covered!
There are plenty of haunted houses and attractions in the Auburn area that are sure to boost your adrenaline and put you in the Halloween spirit.
Haunted Hollow
Just down the road in Valley sits Haunted Hollow, one of the best haunted house attractions in the Auburn area. Haunted Hollow has three different haunted houses, each with a different theme: Finn’s Funeral Home, The Village of the Dead, and Spinal Tap: Clown Town. Each house offers a unique experience with different visuals, sounds, and scares. The cost is $35, which includes all three “haunts.” Be sure to check their website for coupons! I was able to find a coupon for all three haunts for only $25. It was well worth the cost!
Sleepy Hollow
Not to be confused with Haunted Hollow, Sleepy Hollow sits just off South College Street. Sleepy Hollow also has three attractions: Psycho Path, Horror House, and Rip Ride. Rip Ride is especially unique, as it is not your typical haunted house. It’s a haunted school bus driven by a clown! Sleepy Hollow is a little on the pricier side, though. You can buy tickets to the individual attractions for $20 online or a combination ticket that includes all three for $55.
Pope’s Haunted Farm
About 30 minutes from Auburn, in Salem, is Pope’s Haunted Farm. Get your adrenaline rushing at their Haunted Barn, Haunted Forest, or Haunted Hayride. The Haunted Forest is especially exciting, as you make your journey through the forest on foot. Watch out for evil clowns, mad doctors, and chainsaws! Tickets are $20 for one attraction, $35 for two, and $45 for all three.
Six Flags Fright Fest
Though not in Auburn, Fright Fest at Six Flags in Atlanta makes for a great day trip, especially during a month-long stretch of no home football games! From 6 P.M. to close, the park offers 5 different haunted houses, including a Stranger Things themed one. The best part is that all the rides are still running, too! Break up your haunted house tour by riding Goliath or Superman.
I hope you find these suggestions helpful as you hunt for your next thrilling adventure.
Happy Halloween, and…
Be Well, Auburn.
