Join the Auburn Arts Association on March 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in hosting Jill Holt for the Introduction to Oil Painting and Plein Air workshop. Registration is underway at the Harris Center (425 Perry St.)

This one-day workshop is for beginner and intermediate painters. The registration fee is $125 and includes the supplies needed. Lunch is provided and participants will leave with a finished painting.

Jill Holt earned her bachelor’s degree in fine art from Auburn University and has studied with many master painters. Her repertoire includes plein air, commissions, originals, and teaching workshops.
