Opelika’s official kick-off event for the Christmas season will be at Courthouse Square on Friday, December 1st, at 5:00 p.m. This is a free event for all! 

This is annual community event kicks off the Christmas season in Opelika with artificial snowfall and tree lighting. Join hundreds of local citizens as they gear up for Christmas season. The purpose of the event is to bring Christmas cheer to Opelika and is in line with the City of Opelika’s initiative to become a Christmas destination.
