Fall Break Destinations

With fall break quickly approaching, you may be wondering, "Where should I go for fall break?"

Since I'm asking myself the same thing right now, I thought I'd share some fantastic places that I have visited for fall break that you and your friends could visit to escape the stress of college.

Seaside, FL

Seaside offers an abundance of activities for you and your friends to enjoy! You can stroll through the shopping districts, play spike ball, or go swimming at the beach. When you’re hungry, grab a delicious sweet treat from Nigel's, or grab a tasty burger from Pickles! You can split the cost and spend the weekend with friends at one of the many Airbnbs in the area.

Charleston, SC

The cuisine! The clothes! The views! Charleston is one of the most breathtaking destinations on Earth. You can go on a haunted ghost tour, grab a bite to eat at Millers All Day or stroll down Rainbow Road. When you visit Charleston, the options are endless, and you might even run into old friends there.

Smoky Mountains, TN

Who wouldn't want to spend time in the mountains with their closest pals? The Smoky Mountains are the ideal destination if you're in the mood for some outdoor adventure. Hiking in the stunning national forest, skiing at Ober Mountain, seeing Dolly Parton at Dollywood, or taking a gondola ride around town to take in the sights are all great options.

Lake Martin, AL

Remaining in Alabama and taking in your surroundings is perfectly acceptable! Enjoy cooking meals for your friends while staying at a lake house, having an outdoor movie marathon, going out on the lake, or just sitting by the fire roasting s'mores! Reset your mind and stay at home!

Anywhere you go over fall break will be an amazing experience if you’re with the people you care about! You don't have to go anywhere special to take a restful break. With any luck, these suggestions will help you locate a spot where you would want to spend fall break!

Be Well, Auburn.

Cassidy was born in Minnesota but found her true home in the heart of Texas, growing up in Houston. After starting her college journey at the University of Kentucky, she decided to bring her energy and spirit to the Auburn Tiger community. Now settled in at Auburn University, she's diving headfirst into campus life. Whether she's volunteering with Young Life or dancing for the Auburn Dance Marathon, Cassidy is all about making a difference. With her studies focused on Agriculture Communications, she's on a mission to raise awareness about the importance of agricultural science and its impact on our world.

When she is not in class or working, you can find her at the nearest Publix buying a chicken tender pub-sub, chilling in front of Samford lawn, or taking a stroll in downtown Auburn.

After Graduation, Cassidy wants to go back to Texas in hopes of working in social media marketing or journalism.
