GRWM: Everyday Makeup Edition
Do you want to master a perfect morning routine that leaves you looking flawless without taking up an hour of your time?
Looking presentable for the full day ahead doesn’t have to be as hard as you make it. Save that extra hour for sleep and let me show you everything I do during my morning routine.
Skincare always!
Skincare is the first thing I check off my list. My favorite products right now are PanOxyl face wash, Micellar cleansing water, Byoma hydrating toner, and Bubble level-up balancing moisturizer. They leave my skin clean and hydrated without feeling super oily and greased up. I prefer a thinner consistency when I am putting things on my face and these products are the perfect fit.
Time to Glamour Up!
After receiving recommendations from friends, I have finally found the perfect “no makeup” look. All it takes is concealer, blush, and some glowy super gel. Sometimes I like to mix in a little tinted moisturizer, so if you are someone who likes a little more, I highly recommend the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer. It is very thin and has good coverage, so you don’t have to use that much. The other products I use are the Maybelline Fit Me concealer, Tarte shape tape concealer, Pixi On-the-Glow blush, and Saie glowy super gel. Trust me, drugstore makeup products work just as well!
Finishing touches!
Now that you know my secret, let me inform you of a couple more things I do. Obviously, you need to make sure to put deodorant on, brush your teeth, do your hair, etc. but some other essentials are perfume and lotion. Both things leave me smelling fresh all day. The lotion I use is a newer find and I absolutely adore it. The brand is EOS and the scent is Fresh + Cozy. The perfume I use is Mix Bar! I love the vanilla bourbon and whipped almond scents. I highly recommend checking them out to see how you like them! They are super affordable and easy to find.
Be Well, Auburn.
Carsen has lived in the Auburn area for most of her life. Through and through, her family are die-hard Auburn fans. Both of her parents are Auburn Alumni and are still actively engaging in Auburn’s campus. No surprise there when Carsen chose to stay in Auburn for her college years.
Carsen is a sophomore studying Apparel Design and plans to minor in Marketing. When she is not doing school or working, you can find her online shopping, hanging out with friends, being active, watching Grey’s Anatomy, or enjoying time with her family. Some of Carsen’s favorite things are traveling, hot vanilla lattes, getting up early, watching the sunset, and serving in her church.
After college, Carsen is hoping to move out of Auburn, but not too far. If her father had it his way, she wouldn’t be going anywhere, but that is not necessarily on her agenda. She hopes to move to a city nearby where she can pursue her fashion dreams.
