Time for a Spring-Cleaning Adventure!

As we begin to part ways with the winter season, the assurance of spring creates a sense of rejuvenation.

I can’t think of a better way to embrace this new season than to launch into a spring-cleaning adventure! Let’s explore some tips and tricks to establish a fresh, new environment in your space this spring.

Imagine Your Ideal Lifestyle!

Take a few seconds to imagine the kind of house or apartment you want to live in. What comes to mind? When you imagine your ideal living space, you set the standard for what you are planning to achieve. Starting a cleaning routine is one of the first steps to begin your journey towards that ideal lifestyle!

First Things First… Decluttering!

Decluttering can be therapeutic. It helps us embrace simplicity, and prioritize what matters. When we remove the excess, we discover we are lighter and have more order in our space. We are all guilty of throwing things in a corner, chair, or bed instead of putting things where they belong. It’s time for that to change don’t you think? So, put those dirty clothes in the hamper and shoes in the closet. Remove all the unnecessary clutter that’s been sitting there for days, or weeks. A clean space helps make for a clean mind!

Organization is Always the Key to Success!

Organization is bringing order to the chaos. Creating a designated space for your belongings transforms spaces into more functional environments. Not only is everything neat, but it enhances efficiency. A well-organized area opens the door to a more intentional and purposeful life. Every item has a place, and every space serves a meaningful purpose.

Create a Cleaning Routine You’ll Stick To!

Create a reasonable cleaning routine that ensures no corner is overlooked and instills cleanliness as a part of your routine. Instead of overloading yourself with unreasonably large tasks, break them down into smaller, more achievable tasks that can be accomplished easily. Find what works best for you! A good place to start is making your bed when you wake up or putting away your pajamas when you change your clothes for the day.

A Deeper Detox Challenge….

In a world of developing technology, our digital spaces deserve some spring cleaning too. Sorting through emails, tidying up home screens or desktops, and unsubscribing from emails can be a freeing experience. Digital cleaning allows us to navigate our devices with clarity and ease while contributing to a more orderly and focused mindset.

Spring cleaning shouldn’t just be a seasonal task, but a transformative habit that gives new life into our living spaces. Maintaining organization and refreshing our homes creates an aesthetically pleasing lifestyle and cultivates a better sense of well-being. Enjoy the opportunity to clear all the physical and mental clutter. Allow your space to reflect the same positive energy!

Happy cleaning everyone!

Be well, Auburn!

Carsen has lived in the Auburn area for most of her life. Through and through, her family are die-hard Auburn fans. Both of her parents are Auburn Alumni and are still actively engaging in Auburn’s campus. No surprise there when Carsen chose to stay in Auburn for her college years.

Carsen is a sophomore studying Apparel Design and plans to minor in Marketing. When she is not doing school or working, you can find her online shopping, hanging out with friends, being active, watching Grey’s Anatomy, or enjoying time with her family. Some of Carsen’s favorite things are traveling, hot vanilla lattes, getting up early, watching the sunset, and serving in her church.

After college, Carsen is hoping to move out of Auburn, but not too far. If her father had it his way, she wouldn’t be going anywhere, but that is not necessarily on her agenda. She hopes to move to a city nearby where she can pursue her fashion dreams.
