Best Eats for the Big Game
Every year Super Bowl Sunday brings fun with family, friends, football, and most importantly… FOOD! We all know that the food sets the tone for the entire day, so I decided to rank my top 5 favorite Super Bowl foods.
5. Potato skins
There’s not much that can go wrong when you mix potatoes, butter, cheese, and bacon. This classic appetizer is hard to beat, but we are only scratching the surface of my top 5 list.
4. Chips and queso
The chips and queso combination has a wide range, and that is why it makes for a great game day dish. Aside from the delicate simplicity of a simple cheese dip, queso can be spiced up by adding jalapeños, sausage, or even throwing it in on a smoker.
3. Buffalo chicken dip
One of the most popular tailgate trays is a warm buffalo chicken dip. This savory mix of chicken, buffalo sauce, and cheese is a great way to spice up your Sunday.
2. Pigs in a blanket
Little hot dogs, pigs in a blanket… no matter what you call them, this is one of the best snacks to make for a gathering. Dip them in ketchup or mustard and you can’t go wrong.
1. Chicken wings
The one guarantee at every Super Bowl party is a steaming hot chicken wing platter. This famous Super Bowl snack has become a tradition for a reason, and it’s hard to say no to wings. There are so many different flavors and ways to make wings, and this is why it is the fan-favorite food for Super Bowl Sunday.
Honorable Mentions:
Pinwheel Sandwiches
Pretzel Bites
Mozzarella Sticks
