Well, Yeah!

Well, Yeah!

Looking for your next favorite podcast?

Mark your calendars for October 22nd to hear Auburn Recreation and Wellness’ new podcast! As a podcast by students for students, Well, Yeah is all about the college experience. Streaming on platforms such as Spotify, Apple Podcast, Google Podcast, and more, there is ample opportunity to listen in.

Hosts Joey, Madi, and Tyler sit down to talk about all things health and wellness, relationships, and personal experiences. Listen in as they share their tips on how to thrive on and off campus. Think of this as The Rec’s Declassified School Survival Guide (results may vary).

Segments

Well, Yeah includes segments where different hosts talk about special topics that will be featured on Instagram Reels and where the podcast is streamed. Episodes are released bi-weekly, so these short segments will be there to help fill the void you may feel while waiting for the next episode.

Catch Groovin’ with Grace to make sure you’re up to date on new music coming out, and listen to Sophi’s Shelf to know what books are worth reading. Jackson shares what to expect every week on Live from Heisman Drive, while Lydia reveals her tips on how to make healthy meal choices on Bite-Sized Tips. Stay tuned to hear all the segments that will be included.

Guest Appearances

Well, Yeah features special guests! The first episodes spotlights Eric Smith, Executive Director of Auburn University Recreation and Wellness. During this interview, our hosts talked to Smith about how to develop leadership skills, the importance of commitment, and how to be successful in all areas of your life. Be Well, Auburn!

Writer

After getting her associate degree, Sophi transferred to Auburn Univerity to study Communications and English. She had been indifferent towards Auburn before, but after chanting Bodda Getta at football games and indulging in some Toomer’s lemonade, Sophi embraced the Auburn community with open arms. She plans to pursue a career in publishing as a book editor. Sophi is involved with the university’s literary magazine, The Auburn Circle, on prose staff.

If you haven’t guessed by now, Sophi is an avid reader who can talk for hours about her favorite books. She will recommend just about anything by Agatha Christie or Madeline Miller if you ask. When she doesn’t have her nose stuck in a book, you can find her running or playing sand volleyball at The Rec, hanging out at her apartment with her roommates and friends, or playing the annoyingly addictive Block Blast game on her phone.
