4 Outdoor Activities to Try Before It Gets Too Hot

Spring is the perfect in-between season where the weather is nice enough to be outside without feeling like you’re melting.
The days are longer, the sunsets are better, and you don’t have to worry about sweating through your clothes the second you step out the door. Before summer heat takes over, here are four outdoor activities you should try while the temps are still bearable.
1. Pickleball with Friends
First up, pickleball. It’s easily one of my favorite outdoor activities. Having a tennis background definitely gave me an advantage, but the best part about pickleball is how easy it is for anyone to pick up. The smaller court makes it more approachable than tennis, and whether you’re competitive or just playing for fun, it’s the perfect way to get outside and be active without even realizing you’re working out. If you haven’t played yet, what are you waiting for?
2. Sunset & Hot Girl Walks
Nothing beats a sunset walk after a long day. Whether you’re walking and talking with a friend or just getting your steps in, it’s the best way to unwind. Plus, it’s not too hot yet, so you can actually enjoy the fresh air without feeling like you’re dying. I love throwing on a good playlist or podcast and just walking to clear my mind. Try out our Well Yeah podcast next time you go for a walk!
3. Baseball Games
Spring and baseball just make sense. The second baseball season starts, it finally feels like spring is here and summer is on the way. Even if you’re not the biggest baseball fan, the energy of the crowd, the walk-up songs, and time spent with friends makes it worth it.
4. Beach Volleyball
You don’t have to be good at volleyball to have fun playing it. It’s time to rally up a group and hit the sand courts at the Rec or intramural fields. It’s a great way to soak up the sun, be active, and maybe even get a little tan in the process.
Spring goes by fast, so take advantage of the perfect weather while it lasts! Which one are you trying first?
