The Mystery of the True Stretch
You walk into The Rec, ready for a great workout. You scan your Tiger Card, then turn left and grab a mat to start stretching. But you notice this strange contraption in the corner. It looks like a grey dome or cage covered with bars.
What is it? What are you supposed to do with it? Don’t worry, we’ll tell you!
This contraption is called True Stretch, and it is here to help with all your stretching needs. It even has a helpful diagram to show how to do each stretch, categorized by which area the stretch targets.
True Stretch recommends you hold each stretch for three to five seconds and repeat at least three times. Don’t forget to alternate sides for each body part!
The great thing about True Stretch is that each stretch targets two muscle areas at once. It also ensures that you are stretching properly with the correct form, which can reduce risk of injury. So next time you’re at The Rec, try out True Stretch, and give your muscles the stretch they deserve!
Be well, Auburn.
