A Guide to Auburn's Free Adobe Software
Maybe you’ve heard of it, maybe you haven’t, but as of last school year, Auburn became the first school in the SEC to provide free (yes y’all, FREE) Creative Cloud subscriptions for all students.
Not only does this benefit students who were already using Adobe’s programs, but it gives all Auburn students an advantage in their job search. Knowing these programs is a huge résumé-builder and will make you stand out! Plus, they’re incredibly helpful for class assignments and personal projects.
What even is Adobe Creative Cloud?
Only the best thing ever. Adobe Creative Cloud is a collection of Adobe applications and services that provides users with software for things like design, video, photography, animation, coding, 3D modeling, and more.
How do I get it?
Luckily, installing Adobe is pretty straightforward! Follow the steps below to get it set up. If you have any issues, make sure to contact itservicedesk@auburn.edu with any questions.
1. Log in to Adobe through Auburn Creative Campus. Scroll down the page and click the “Login to request your license” button. You’ll log in through AU Access, and Adobe will automatically send your request.
2. Check your Auburn email for a message from Adobe. Click the “Get Started” button in the email.
3. You’ll be brought to a Creative Cloud webpage. Under “Your Apps and Services,” under “Creative Cloud,” click on “Download Apps.”
4. You’ll be brought to a page where you can install apps.
5. Get installing!
Which apps should I install?
